The name "Tierra Sana" means "healthy earth" and for more than 30 years has represented the energy and atmosphere of this property. The house lies in a location with an attractive and established garden - a real green paradise, which is the perfect environment for a peaceful and relaxed stay, open for personal development, changes and creativity.

Tierra Sana with its special flair has always been a place where artists, writers, painters and musicians have lived and worked.

The story of Tierra Sana

The finca was bought from the Spanish owners by Dr. Karl-Otto Heede, a notable German naturopath. He gave this piece of land its name. He converted it into a green paradise, did plant research and built up a garden with medicinal plants. With his book "Millions Could Get Healed" he became a famous writer.

At the end of the 80s the English painter Barbara Nichols bought the house. She lived and worked here for many years. Her son, Peter Nichols, a well known author, wrote some of his books here.

We, Christine Göbel and Udo Lenze, bought this beautiful finca in 1998 and since then we have been enjoying the special flair of this area. Since 2000 we have lived here permanently so that we can take care, renovate and steadily improve the property. Our vision to share this wonderful piece of land with lots of interesting people led us to further rearrangements in 2008.

Holiday rentals, group arrangements, seminars and events ... Since May 2009 the "new" Tierra Sana offers versatile possibilities for all kind of activities. The extensive location with different lodging options and all kinds of event arrangements is the perfect place to relax and for encounters, spiritual growth and creative development.
